Meet Our Board Members
MISSION STATEMENT:
Amputee Outreach is a Nonprofit providing Peer Support for all Limb Loss and Limb difference people. Education, recovery, encouragement for ALL Amputees and Limb Difference patients of all ages. Learning self acceptance and promoting the families, Caregivers and the entire Community.
There is no cost to the Amputee, or the Caregivers or families.
Assistance and Referrals to organizations and professionals involved in services frequently needed by Amputee patients and families.
Equipment Lending Program of Recovery equipment.
Items frequently needed and loaned by Amputee Outreach:
- Wheelchairs
- Walkers
- Canes
- Crutches
- Ramps
- Grab Bars
- Potties
- Shower chairs and Benches.
Amputee Outreach accepts donations of used items and distribution to Amputee as the need arises. This equipment is used and Amputee Outreach requires a signed release of liability. Amputee Outreach can not warranty any of the equipment.
Monthly Group Support Meetings
Amputee Outreach holds monthly meetings all Amputees, Limb Difference friends and families are welcome.
